Actually Thoroughbreds are not really sprinters. Of course some Thoroughbreds prefer longer or shorter races because they are all individuals. But most Thoroughbreds are bred for distance. If you want a sprinter the Quarter Horse will get the job done. He won't go the distance but in a quarter mile race he is faster than the Thoroughbred. Quarter Horses have what is called 'quick twitch muscles'. He can stop on a dime and give you a nickel change. That's why he can cut cattle, barrel race, or rein at an Olympic reining competition.
Tall and skinny.
Tall people are better swimmers because they have longer legs than short people do.
A very silly question, better at what?
The tallest Thoroughbred ever was Le Grand Cheval, who stood at 19.2 hands. Mostly, though, Thoroughbreds are between 15 to 17 hands high.
Because the are tall and grass are short
I would say tall and skinny because you can be a modle if you are and sometimes it better being skinny
Fat, short, and compact.
I don't think either they all have their advantages and disadvantages but personally i would want to be taller.
the height doesn't matter. its the personality that counts
A horse measuring 15.2 hands is 62" tall at the withers, which is 5', 2" tall. This is a relatively short horse, but the American Paint Horse breed is known for being shorter through the legs and stockier. In contrast, Thoroughbreds can be up to 18 hands (72" or 6' tall) and draft horse breeds can be over 21 hands tall (84" or 7' tall).
Better to have loved a short man than never to have loved a tall
Better to have loved a short man than to never have loved a tall.
