No, that would be theft. However, they can take them away and turn them into the school office.
Say that the teachers would only let students take iPods to school if they have good grades and no detentions. Then that would motavate the students.
It's harder to listen to the teacher and it is distracting.
it gives them new ipods
because students spend classes listening to music rather than teachers!
It depends on the teachers and the school distric and elementry kids are not allowed at all. middle school kids can.
yes
Cons: a. Teachers are bothered that students might be too distracted and unable to listen to them as they conduct their lessons in class. b. Students might download pornography or inappropriate media and bring them to school, where other students might be affected. c. iPods may be used as a tool for cheating. Some teachers have overheard students planning to download formulas for math exams and the like. d. iPods might be a target for theft. e. Some educators are concerned that students become isolated and antisocial. Instead of tuning into other people, they are left tuned into themselves. f. Students can become so engrossed in listening to music that they may completely tune out what going on around them, causing unnecessary mishaps. g. Students might be playing their music too loud and could cause damage to their hearing.
electronics should be allowed at school, like kids could use them at lunch, they are not allowed cause people, are wierd. and think that they can have them ? but kids cant ? . yeh we should be able to ! . so. if anyone sees this should think this is right (Y) . No
No. There's really no reason a student should ever be distracted from what's going on in class. Some teachers might choose to allow them at certain points... for instance, when the class is supposed to be working independently on something... but even they may be too distracting for some students, and it's very difficult to say "John, you may not use your iPod, but Mary is allowed to." The crucial thing students need to understand is that they are not going to school to be entertained or do whatever they want, they are going to school to learn.
