The left lung only has 2 lobes (superior and inferior) because the heart takes up much of the space allowed on the left side. The right lung; however, has 3 lobes (Superior, Middle, and Inferior).

Yes. The left lung is a little less voluminous than the right lung. It has two lobes, whereas the right lung has three. Its volume is displaced a bit more, by the location of the heart, than the right lung.

No, one is bigger than the other. The left lung is smaller to make room for the heart.
The right lung is smaller than the left to allow room for the heart.
They're not supposed to be in humans. The left is smaller to make room for the heart.

The lungs are cone-shaped organs in the thoracic cavity. The right lung consists of three lobes (right are-both-of-the-lungs-identicallobe, right middle lobe, and right inferior lobe) while the left lung has only two lobes (left superior lobe and left inferior lobe) and is slightly smaller than the right lung.
