When you consider that Australia belonged to the Aborigine for perhaps 10,000 years or more, yes Europeans are new to Australia having taken the land from the Aborigine some 200 years ago. Britain was not satisfied with the size of its commonwealth but wanted more. I am an Englishman who came to Australia some 50 years ago. I love it here but I am disgusted at how we obtained it from a peaceful people.
