yes. they are nice, small, keep the water clean. but not big enough for most fish.
The basic rules for successfull fish keeping are . 1inch of fish needs at least 1 gallon of water. :- Every tank needs a permanently running cycled filter. :- Every tank needs at least 50% of its water replaced every week. In the case of a Betta it is a 3 inch fish and so it needs at least 3 gallons of water to live in. (so a Marineland Eclipse 6 should do the job OK) It is also a tropical fish and so it needs a heater/thermostat set at 78F and a thermometer to keep a check on it. If you feed the fish well and provide all the above your Betta should do OK. If you fail in any of them I can guarantee that your fish will be constantly getting sick and will live a shortened life.
