The mormon faith believes that Jesus Christ ascended into God hood aka working for your salvation. which is not true Ephesians 2:8 "For by GRACE are ye saved through FAITH, NOT of yourselves. not of works lest any man should boast."
They don't. That might be the opinion of a few Mormons, but not most Mormons. The Church itself has said nothing on the matter. Mormons are encouraged to form their own political opinions.
Most of those who do wear CTR (Choose The Right) rings are Mormon. Although, it is quite possible that non-Mormons wear them as well.

Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (commonly called the "Mormon" church) believe that they are on the right path to God, but you will have to make that decision for yourself. Mormons believe that they are on the right path to God because they accept Jesus Christ as their Savior and try to follow His example of love and service in their own lives. You can decide for yourself if Mormons are on the right path to God by learning more about their beliefs, speaking with them, and meeting with them in person.
