Answer 1
No. Muslims are not required to destroy or kill people who are not of their faith. There is no compulsion in Islam to follow their religion.
Answer 2
There are several contradictions in the Qur'an that deal with this issue. There is of course the line in 2:256 (see below) which would support Answer 1's conclusion that infidels cannot be murdered for their disbelief as they have the freedom of choice. However, less than 70 verses earlier is the famous "kill them wherever you find them" verse: 2:191. Depending on the position that a particular Islamic scholar wishes to take today, he will stress one verse or the other to play to his own beliefs.
Both Translations are from Sahih International, one of the most acclaimed Translations of the Qur'an.
Qur'an 2:256: "There shall be no compulsion in [acceptance of] the religion. The right course has become clear from the wrong. So whoever disbelieves in Taghut [idolatry] and believes in Allah has grasped the most trustworthy handhold with no break in it. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing."
Qur'an: 2:191: "And kill them [the disbelievers] wherever you overtake them and expel them from wherever they have expelled you, and fitnah [strife] is worse than killing. And do not fight them at al-Masjid al- Haram until they fight you there. But if they fight you, then kill them. Such is the recompense of the disbelievers."
All muslims are required to announce their faith by Islam, i have not heard Andy Murrey anouncing it.
Prayer is the second pillar of Islam. Muslims are required to pray. Prayer also spiritually benefits Muslims. It strengthens their faith and gives them peace of mind. Muslims pray in the direction of Mecca. This direction depends on where you live.
All Muslims should fast. But there is an exception for some. In the Qur'an, Allah s.w.t. said that the Muslims that don't need to fast are the ones who are sick, the ones who are young, I think also women in labor. You can find the ayah in the Qur'an. Also: Why do some Christians not go to Church? It is a similar question as not everyone who professes a faith follows all of the required tenets of that faith.
