Rikki-Tikki-Tavi is a brave and clever mongoose in Rudyard Kipling's short story of the same name. He is known for his courage in protecting his adopted human family from dangerous cobras, particularly Nag and Nagaina. Rikki-Tikki is resourceful and quick-witted, using his intelligence and agility to outsmart his enemies.

Oh, dude, Karait in "Rikki-Tikki-Tavi" is a deadly black cobra. Like, this sneaky snake is no joke, man. He's all about causing trouble for our hero, Rikki-Tikki, with his venomous ways. So, watch out for that slithery dude!
Nag and Nagaina in "Rikki Tikki Tavi" are alike in that they are both snakes, and they both want to accomplish that same thing (getting rid of Rikki). They both plot and scheme of a way to get what they want. They are different in that Nagaina seems to be more cleaver and quick thinking. She seems like the "brains of the operations."

The correct name is "Nikki Nikki Tembo No So Rembo Oo Ma Moochi Gamma Gamma Goochi" It's the name of a little Chinese boy in a story called "Long Name No Can Say" narrated by Paul Wing. It was available as an RCA Camden recording when I was little - circa mid-1940's. It seems that this same story has been retold many times in many variations, subsequent to that time period, which is perhaps the origin of the "Tikki Tikki ..." variety.
