There are no adults present in "Lord of the Flies" apart from the dead body of the pilot. The upbringing of the boys is not responsible for their actions, the problem lies deeper than that, with the primal presence of the beast within.

Why are children should be blame for their misbehaviour?

Often children know when they do something wrong but they try to push the borders and therefor they are to blame. If you blame someone else they learn they can get away with anything and that is not a good life lesson. That way they will blame others as well when they do something wrong. That way you don't learn responsibility for your own actions. We can see that in adults sometimes.

Abigail Williams of the Salem witch trials is to blame or are other adults around her to blame Please base your answer on facts and not on the crucibal play or movie there is fictional scenes in both?

Abigail Williams is to blame because if she and her cousin and other girls didn't start to through fits and saying that they were being "bewitched" then 19 people wouldn't have been hanged and 1 person wouldn't have been squished to death, but it is somewhat the adults fault for believing their stories

Why do adolescents put blame on others more than adults?

We blame others usually because we are just plane stupid!! We feel like it will be the end of the world if we get in trouble so we blame it on others. Its also because we want to think we are smart and wise so we say no you are wrong even if we know that we are wrong. I'm 14 and I know I do this a lot!!!! lol

What is the real reason historian James Gilbert believes adults blame the media and particularly the Internet for many of today's social problems?

Historian James Gilbert believes that adults tend to blame the media and the Internet for social problems as a way to deflect responsibility from themselves and their own actions.
