If you want to know which contributors to trust, look for the ones with the highest number of trust points. Check their profile: are they a Supervisor or a Premier Answerer? If so, then you can be sure that their answers will be almost definitely true.
However, like anyone, else, contributors can only write what they can research. Some common sites where people research their answers also have mistakes. It is always best to verify answers for yourself, with your own research.

We have Supervisors who check for incorrect and blatantly misleading answers, but because of the nature of the site (shared information), you need to be aware that when a question is answered, the answer posted may not be entirely correct or true.
