What do you mean, are they "real?" Of course they're not real. None of it's real. It's a MOVIE. Movies are make-believe, obviously.
Perhaps I am misunderstanding your question? You can't possibly think that when people are killed in Horror movies, the actors are actually murdered on-screen, for real? Who on earth would volunteer to be murdered, just to make a movie?
