Lichens and mosses grow on essentially bare rock surfaces and create a more humid chemical microenvironment. The attachment of these organisms to the rock surface enhances physical as well as chemical breakdown of the surface microlayer of the rock. On a larger scale, seedlings sprouting in a crevice and plant roots exert physical pressure as well as providing a pathway for water and chemical infiltration.

So, i think it is a form of chemical weathering. Or at least that was the closest answer i could find

What process creates tiny particles from bedrock?

well it is very hard to break up bedrock, but the main process that does is weathering. You have two seperit kinds of weathering. The first one is Chemical Weathering. Chemical weathering is when weathering effects the exterior. two examples are rust and leaching. The second type of weathering is Mechanical Weathering. This effects rocks physically. two examples are abrasion and erosion.SO THE MAIN ANSWER WOULD BE WEATHERING. THE TYPE OF WEATHERING, MECHANICAL WEATHERING, THE PROCESS, ABRASION (well there is more than that but that is the most common situation)

How climate effects weathering?

Mechanical weathering refers to weathering that causes physical erosion of exposed rock without changing its chemical composition. Climate helps promote or prevent things like frost and wind that create this form of weathering.
