As the source is the same, many teachings are basically the same, especially in the Bible in which minimum changes have been made by the Christians. But the Qur'an does not contain in it any part of the Bible. The Qr'an is revealed in Arabic, but the Bible was not revealed in Arabic.

- Surah 1 - al-Fātihah (The Opening)
- Surah 2 - al-Baqarah (The Cow)
- Surah 3 - Āli ‘Imrān (Family of Imran)
