if you have smoked longer than 8 yrs then yes, your longs can/will become very sensitive.

An emotionally sensitive person- is a person who is very emtional and doesnt react to things well, they will have am out-burst of tears, or possible scream at the top of their lungs
It can irritate the lungs and if the are really sensitive they will start coughing and wheezing, other than that they should be ok.
It could mean you are hyper sensitive or it could mean that the thing that entered your lungs couldn't easily get out.

Our lungs are quite sensitive. The blood vessels in the nose warm the air to a temperature close to our own. The moisture is simply secretions designed to trap foreign particles such as pollen and dust - to sopt them reaching the lungs.

When we drink hot beverage, we have a burning sensation, so the hot beverage actually expands the air in the lungs, causing the lungs to bloat a little( actually unnoticeable) so this heat in our lungs touches the ribs causing the burning sensation. it is the left rib because oxygen that we take in enters the left lung so left lung expands and so on...

If the bruise is large, and has a clot under it, the clot can move to sensitive areas of the body (lungs, Heart, brain) and cause further damages: stroke, heart attack etc.
