The Nasal Septum
The nasal cavity and the upper and lower chambers of the heart are divided by a septum.
Septum
The pharynx is the back of the throat (divided loosely into nasopharynx and oropharynx) which allows food to enter the oesophagus and air to enter the thrachea.
It is divided into three anatomical regions
There are two muscles that divide the chambers of the heart. The right and left ventricles are divided by the interventricular septum and the right and left atria are divided by the interatrial septum.
Pharynx is divided into nasopharynx, oropharynx and laryngopharynx. Upper most part is called as nasopharynx.
The pharynx is the throat, the region of ailmentary canal that lies between the mouth and oesophagus. The pharynx/throat is divided into 3 regions (nasopharynx, oropharynx and larygnopharynx) and conducts the air you breath to and from the trachea (windpipe).
It is called the interventricular septum.
The areas of the pharynx are the Nasopharynx, Oropharynx, and Laryngopharynx. The nasopharynx it provides passageway for air. The oropharynx is below the nasopharynx and is for food moving downward from the mouth and for air moving to and from the nasal cavity. Lastly the laryngopharynx is below the oropharynx and is a passageway to the esophagus.
the septum divides the teo ventricles of the heart.
