An RC Submarine is a submarine purchased at a toy or hobby store that is run by remote control. If you want to see a sample of an RC Submarine you can find one here: http://www.amazon.com/Swimline-RC-Submarine-27-MHz/dp/B0037M4Q3A

The D&E Skipjack submarine is suppose to be the fastest submarine. Just check out this video on YouTube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1pmd-fSjYXQ Otherwise, I am not sure.
One may purchase kits to assemble an RC or remote controlled submarine. They are available at major toy stores or online at Amazon and Ebay. Alternatively they can be bought fully assembled at these sites.
Here are a few steps to make a RC Submarine from an RC Car. 1) You can make it by buying kits or first take a RC Car which has lights on it. 2) Then open it up and take the first motor and a plastic bottle or a juice carton and attach it to the 1 of 4 sides. 3) Then cut off the upper area partially and insert your electronics. 4) Then take one motor of your choice and remove 1 light from it. 5) Attach the motor and also attach it to the next side. Then take your servo and attach it at the back and add your rudder. 6) Finally, attach 2 propellers to your motor. Congratulations, you have a dynamic RC submarine.
i have ben looking online but i have not found one yet but i think there is
Fiberglass would be the only material for R/C submarines.
Unless you possess even basic engineering knowledge on submarine construction and operational principles, it's easier to just buy one. There are many RC controlled boats on the market, and they're relatively inexpensive - at least compared to the cost of designing and building one of your own. As a former submariner myself with that kind of knowledge, I wouldn't do it myself - too much involved.Remember that there's not much engineering involved in getting a submarine to sink - that's the easy part. Getting it to surface again is the trick. However, if you're that determined to learn, Rc-sub.com is a pretty good place to start. The link is below.
First you have a 1 litre plastic bottle . Next make a 2 holes in bottom of bottle. Fix the 2 rc motors in hole . Fix a rotar(fan shaped) blades in a motor. Make a small hole in a top of the bottle in each side. Insert a iron rod and join a 50 g of weight each side. Cut the centre side of bottle in 9 volt battery size. Insert a battery in a hole . Complete the wire connections . Connect the switch or remote controlling board inside the bottle . Now turn on a switch or controller . Place you bottle submarine in a water.
I am a big fan of amazon.com and ebay.com for these types of items. Sometimes an ebay search will turn up a homemade submarine someone has built, and those can be the coolest if you're willing to pay for it. Toy stores (Toys R' Us), craft stores (Hobby Lobby), Radio Shack, and Walmart are all places that sometimes carry items like this. Youtube.com has a few neat videos of how to make your own, too!
