yes, different kinds, some are tribal conventions(igbo, edo, yoruba) and some are just for Nigeria as a whole. Most are held in the summer in popular states like Texas, California and etc. For example I'm going to a Nigerian reunion covention July 2009 this summer in Las Vegas, registration is still going on until mid to late June.
