Jupiter
Saturn
Uranus
Neptune
The other four planets are known as terrestrial planets. The gas giants in our Solar System are also called the outer planets because they are the four planets in the Solar System furthest from the Sun. Gas planets are a category of planets without any solid metals or rock. Gas planets are also referred to as gas giants, giant planets, and Jovian planets. Since gas planets do not have a solid surface, you would not be able to walk on them. Gas planets are said to have a rocky center; however, that term is somewhat misleading. Scientists believe that due to the high temperatures and extreme pressures in the center of gas planets their rocky centers are actually liquid metal or rock. Thus, the density of the gas planets simply increases as you go deeper to the center.
There are four gaseous planets.
There are four gaseous planets.
inner planets and gas giants
There are four planets in our Solar System that are gas giants: Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. There are many others but are extrasolar, as in outside our Solar System.
The inner rings of the solar system do not have any gas planets. The gravity pulling on them from the sun would cause them to condence and become a solid. However, the outer rings of the solar system has neptune, jupiter, saturn and uranus, all considered gas planets.

A model for the solar system in which the sun and planets condensed from a cloud (or nebula) of gas and dust
In our Solar System, there a four gas planets. To be factually correct, there are only 2 gas planets - Jupiter and Saturn. and 2 ice planets - Uranus and Neptune. Combined, they a colloquially known as the Gas giants or Jovian planets.

The solar system consists of the sun, the planets that orbit the sun, moons, comets, asteroids, minor planets, and dust and gas.
