Not that anybody is aware of. This is why the University of Illinois cannot have Chief Illiniwek as their mascot because no members of the Illini tribe remain to grant permission to the University to honor their tribe as their mascot. It is an ongoing process that some people find offensive for some reason, but every student-athlete at the University is demanding the chief be brought back to sporting events.
Yes, there are still Illini Native Americans living today. However, the Illini Confederacy, which historically consisted of several Native American tribes, has experienced significant population decline and cultural assimilation over the past centuries. While some individuals may still identify as Illini, the tribe is not federally recognized and its population is relatively small.
No Native Americans left famous pyramids. I believe you're thinking of Egypt.
All Native American tribes believed in some form of shamanism.
I'm unaware of a Native American word of even close to this one. The little research I've done seems to indicate that "Waleska" is a German / Polish word or name meaning "Strong." I've left this in the Native American category in case someone else may know of a word that is close to it.
If they are the only ones left of their people? or if they apply for & receive federal recognition? (not really sure what you mean by this.....)
5,000 pikas left in the world
Lewis left the medal around the dead native american's neck because they might be informed of who they were.

how you know that the unchecked native American mound builders items were left by another culture
Native Americans have merged into the multicultural society of the the United States and other countries. As they inter-marry and lose traditions they no longer identify themselves as native Americans. There are a few remaining communities where native genes, traditions and culture continue, but those communities are leaking young members who move away to find jobs, partners and first world lifestyles. Eventually there will be nobody left who can claim to be pure native American. My grandfather was native American, but he married outside the culture. My lifestyle is western. I cannot claim to be native American.

In Mexico, they are perhaps 30% of the population our of 100 or so million people (the majority of Mexicans have native American genes; not to mention the millions and millions in other latin american countries like Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, etc.....
