Are there any medical profession specific AA meetings for medical professionals who are alcoholics?

Look up the International Doctors in Alcoholics Anonymous. It is NOT AA because they limit membership, but they are open to medical students and sometimes pre-med's.
There is a lot of support from withing the medical community, but you have to know where to find it. Check out my podcast to learn more.

Good advice, it really does help talking to someone with a little more familiar of a situation. I'm also a medical professional who has attended AA, stay strong, find another medical professional to talk to and relate with.
To add to the above GOOD answer, also if you are a professional nurse, doctor, pharmacist, counselor-call the local hospital treatment centers and ask if they have a Professional Meeting. It is sometimes impossible to talk in front of lay person, if you are a professional. God Bless A counselor
