white tigers live alone with there cubs on snowy mountains and forests . They only join together when it is breeding time . The white tiger is not a seperate species, but only an extremely rare color variant of the Bengal tiger. They can appear in a Bengal tiger litter at any time, and have normal colored littermates. They are found in tropical conditions like all Bengal tigers. While it is true Bengal tigers do ascend sometimes into the Himalayas, there is no population of white tigers living in snowy forests.
Yes, white tigers do, but regular tigers usually do not
The term "snow tiger" is used to refer to a couple of different sub-species of tigers. Often it is used to refer to the Bengal tigers that have a gene mutation giving them a white coloration. Sometimes these white Bengal tigers are also called the "snow white tiger". This coloration in the Bengal is very rare, especially in the wild. But perhaps, more frequently, the only tiger that lives in snowy country, the Siberian, is referred to the "snow tiger" or "Siberian Snow tiger". These Siberian tigers are believed to number only around 600 in the wild today."Snow tigers" are of the Siberian tiger species and are estimated at between 500 to 600 in the wild.
Bengal tigers do not hibernate. They live in India (which is hot year round) so they have no reason to. Neither do Siberian tigers (who even live in cold places). They have their ways of finding food like deer during the winter. Deer also don't hibernate, so the tiger can hunt that in the snowy winters of Siberia (but they can also be found in other places besides Siberia, you may also hear the names Amur, North China, or Korean)
it depends, white tigers are caused by breeding programs (see wiki for a more detailed description) (and are not albino) and they are extremely rare in the wild. most of them are Bengal tigers (they live in india)and you wont find the min snowy areas very often however, some white tigers are siberian (Or amur)(panthera tigris altaica) tigers, they are found in remote areas of siberia. the amur tiger has lots of snow in its native habitat, so i would say that this is a 'snow' tiger, otherwise you call it a white tiger.
tigers,and other animals
I am not that sure, but I think it does because I have done some research on it. No. White tigers are an extremely rare color morph of the Bengal tiger in India. Siberian tigers do live in snowy regions in winter, but there are no white Siberian tigers.
Because they are the only tigers who have thicker fur than any other tigers and because they can survive in that weather
in the arctic or the snowy areas
they don't they live in snowy mountains
to increase friction on the snowy land.due to this it would be easier to ride in snow areas
There is no such animal as the "snow" tiger. The Siberian tiger thrives in the cold forests of Russia and China, and is the only subspecies that lives in snowy regions in winter. If you mean the rare white Bengal tiger, which is nothing more than a genetically abherrant colored Bengal, they can appear at anytime in a litter of normal colored cubs, and have been recorded from time to time in history. The current white tigers of zoo and circus fame, are descended from white cubs captured in India's Rewa region (Madhya Pradesh) in 1951. Bred to normal colored tigers, occasionally resulting in some white cubs. Most white tigers in captivity are descended from these Rewa tigers.
