I am not that sure, but I think it does because I have done some research on it.

No. White tigers are an extremely rare color morph of the Bengal tiger in India. Siberian tigers do live in snowy regions in winter, but there are no white Siberian tigers.

In the wild - no. White tigers are a rare mutation of the Bengal tiger, which lives in quite a warm climate. They would be rather disadvantaged as not having an effective camouflage (however, some rewilded white lions have been seen hunting, despite being even more visible in their habitat). Currently there are probably no white tigers in the wild.

Siberian (Amur) tigers live in a colder climate with snowy winters, but they are not white - they have orange fur, the shade is just a little lighter than in orange Bengal tigers. Perhaps, if the Amur tiger gets a chance to survive, evolution may make its coat even paler in the future.

However, since there are (unfortunately) more tigers in captivity than in the wild, some white tigers have contact with snow. Tigers of all subspecies seem to enjoy cold weather.

Who is known as the tiger of snow?

it depends, white tigers are caused by breeding programs (see wiki for a more detailed description) (and are not albino) and they are extremely rare in the wild. most of them are Bengal tigers (they live in india)and you wont find the min snowy areas very often however, some white tigers are siberian (Or amur)(panthera tigris altaica) tigers, they are found in remote areas of siberia. the amur tiger has lots of snow in its native habitat, so i would say that this is a 'snow' tiger, otherwise you call it a white tiger.

Is the snow tiger an endanger animal?

The elusive snow white tiger is truly a cat of many faces! Artistically "snow white tiger" has been used in reference to the coat pattern of the white Bengal tiger. In more serious texts the term has been used to identify the most well known snow inhabiting tiger - the Siberian or Amur tiger. In some older references, almost any large cat might be referred to as a tiger, so depending on the source it's also possible that "snow tiger" could apply to the Snow Leopard as well. To make this truly confusing, avalanches of snow are also sometimes referred to as snow tigers, a tribute to just how fierce and deadly an avalanche (or a tiger) can be. So if your travel agent slips a snow tiger in to your vacation agenda, you better make sure you know what kind of tiger you're getting!

What is the difference between a regulsr tiger and a snow tiger?

Regular tigers are actually just orange tigers. Snow tigers are just tigers whose parents had white genes, which is like white paint. When the two parents got together and had babies, the white genes "painted" the tiger white with black stripes. White tigers can live in hot or cold climates. Even though this ability is capable of them, they cannot and DO NOT live in the wild. See, part of the reason tigers are successful at hunting and getting food is because they can blend in with the grass. If they are white, then they can be seen easily. BYe>
