There are five ways to get doublons on Skullduggery Island:
1. Selling silk, medicine, grain, or spice and the highest price you can find (ranges from 33-44 doublons per unit, don't forget to purchase these same items at their cheapest prices, which range from 12-17 doublons per unit)
2. Finding salvage floating in the water (just swim over it to collect. The most salvage is found around Golden Harbour, perhaps because of the bank loans).
3. Fighting other pirate ships, and sea creatures. Sometimes, other pirate ships will fire at you, and start a battle. If their health meter is longer than yours, SWIM TO THE NEAREST ISLAND! This is because their ship will defeat you, and you will lose goods and doublons when they sink you. If their health meter is smaller than yours, stampede them and shoot your cannons as fast as you can. (This really helps if you hire and employee at Pirate Outpost). When they sink, they lost doublons and cargo. Pick that up. This is also how you defeat captain crawfish, after you purchase the Pheonix warbird and have all the crew.
4. Getting a loan from the Golden Harbour bank. WARNING: When you get a loan, you only have thirty (30) days to pay it back, with a 5% interest per day. This is the worst way to collect doublons, because you end up loosing more than what you borrowed. The only reason you should turn to this
is because you've had it really bad at seas, and lost ALL of your money and ALL of your goods and you have a tiny little raft. If you have more than just a raft, see #5.
5. Degrade your ship. This will give you more money, because it is worth less.

∙ 13y agogo to the island at the bottom right corner, there is alot of wreckage near there but watch out for the rocks or you could kill giant sea animals they are hard to kill and drop alot of loot
