Lions are very expanded. In the wild, the most of lions live in the Savannah, although there are also in the Forest. You can find the largest (the very most) African lions at N.P. Serengetti (Tanzania), N.P. Masai (Kenya), N.P. Krugeri (South Africa) and Senegal. There are lions also at Kalahari (Botswana), Congo, etc. In Asia, you can find Asiatic lions at Gir Forest P. (south-east India). In captivity, you can find lions at circuses, zoos and safari parks.

∙ 15y agoThe lion lives in the middle of Africa. Any story telling you about a lion in a jungle is wrong. The middle of Africa is a savanna setting and makes a large population for many grazing animals. This gives the lion a abundant food supplies. The wildebeest is known for its large migratation and many preadotators follow is annual event including the lion.

White lions are not completely white. They are just much more blonde than regular lions. To be truly white they would be albino, with pink noses and eyes, and they are not albino.
A recessive gene results in paler lions than the usual color. A few white lions were discovered in South Africa and these were interbred so they are now quite common on farms that specialise in lion breeding. There are several such farms close to Johannesburg and others close to the Kruger National Park.
At the Joburg farms tourists can play with white lion cubs of varying sizes. Once they grow to the size of a large dog they become too dangerous and are kept away from tourists.
