What is better Blu-ray or HD?
Bluray and HD DVD are the two trade names for high definition discs and players. Bluray is by far the better choice for the simple reason that HD DVD was withdrawn in 2009. Bluray had won the HD format war so HD DVD quietly left the stores. There are a number of HD DVD discs around as well as the players. As the two systems are in-compatible, don't trash your HD DVD player just yet. It will still do a do job of playing the HD DVD discs you still have.

BluRay is a level of high definition that makes the movie look even more real. It makes animation look incredible and non animation movies look as though you are right there when they are filming it. There are now BluRay movies done in 3D. This is an amazing experience that everyone should see at least once. It makes everything seem very real and makes t experience of the movie something that will truly stick out in your mind.Whether you are a fan of BluRay or just regular DVDs you can get players that suit your needs. Typically, BluRay players play BluRay discs as well as regular DVDs, however the opposite is not true. Common DVD players cannot play BluRay movies. Another thing that you need to remember with BluRay movies is that you have to have a high definition television in order to truly experience the BluRay difference. This is because the technology for BluRay was developed for these type of televisions. While your movie will still play on the television, it won't give you the same experience as with a BluRay player.
Why do companies sell blu ray and DVD combo pack?
Most households that own a Bluray disc player normally have at least one DVD player elsewhere in the house. It is likely that publishers have decided that offering a DVD with each Bluray disc adds value to the buyer so that the same movie can be watched in the living room in HD and also perhaps in a bedroom that doesn't have access to a Bluray player just yet. Profit on disc sales is linked far more to the number of sales than the cost of producing the discs themselves. A DVD costs almost nothing to manufacture so the additional cost of the product hardly changes. The increase in sales will certainly outweigh the increase in costs.

BluRay is the name of a high definition DVD player, developed by Sony. The alternative is HDDVD released by Toshiba at around the same time. In terms of image quality, there is little to choose between them but it is commercial considerations that separate them. BluRay has captured the majority of the market and most of the large distribution companies have opted to support BluRay rather than HD DVD. The battle between the two formats looks to have been won by BluRay and Toshiba are reluctantly admitting that HD DVD will give way to Sony's product. While HD DVD is not quite dead yet, opinions within the trade suggest that HD DVD will not be around for a great deal longer. Both formats will play standard definition DVDs so they will replace existing DVD players.

What is considered out of bounds in ultimate frisbee?
Just like in any other sport, there are boundaries around the field. However, if the disc flies past the boundaries, it is not necessarily out of bounds yet. Quality players curve the disc out of bounds and back in and, if caught in bounds, is still considered in and good. If a player jumps from in bounds and catches and throws the disc in play, before he hits the ground, that is considered in and good (this is commonly known as "the greatest" due to its difficulty to accomplish). Once the disc hits the ground out of play or a player catches the disc out of bounds, it is considered a dead disc. Also recognize that if the disc hits the ground, in the field or past the boundaries, it is a turnover and the other team picks up the disc.
