No. There were only a few Musical Instruments. The piano hadn’t been invented, but there were drums, flutes, a guitar type instrument, Bagpipes and an early bagpipe type of instrument used in Spain and Portugal. People also used their voices to create the sounds that would make instrument type of sounds. Today they are called shape singers and the Tennessee mountain people still sing this way.
