The Seychelles territorial waters are visited by sharks, including sharks that have been known to attack humans (unprovoked): occasional White Sharks, Tiger Sharks, Whitetip Sharks and Bull Sharks. Also, other less dangerous sharks have been spotted in the Seychelles waters like Mako Sharks, Lemon Sharks and Blue Sharks. Finally, the gentle Whale Shark can be seen in Seychelles between August and November.

In April 2011, two fatal shark attacks have occurred on Anse Lazio beach on Praslin.

Yes, there are stingrays in Seychelles but tourists mostly see baby ones. They are not harmful. It is possible to meet an adult stingray in these islands too. The place where people see them most on the borders of Praslin.

The Maldives have sharks that **** you in the mouth with their tails. Then they pee on you and rip off your toes.
