No there is no such things as warlocks.

The term warlock means: Warlocks are, among historic Christian traditions, said to be the male equivalent of witches. Likewise, in traditional Scottish witchcraft warlock was and is simply the term used for a wizard, or male witch. A synonym is sorcerer.

Males are called witches not warlocks. I know this because I'm a male and a witch.

A warlock is an oath-breaker. Someone who has made an oath to keep and abide by the rules and dictates of a spiritual path, and then broken that oath.

Originally the word was used to describe pagans who, by the opinions of structured religions had turned away from "God" as they knew him. Most pagans so labled had never been members of the accusing religions, so the word was incorrectly used.

Later, it became popular in fiction, and among people who did not know pagans and paganism, as a term for a male witch. This again is incorrect use of the word. A witch is a witch no matter the gender.

Yes they do but what wiki user said is totally untrue , Warlocks are not oath breakers , this is a rumor that has been circulated by religant zealots who wish to bastardize what the word means and what the order is really about , in order to wipe them off the face of this planet . The real meaning is Enlightened one or very Wise one . Frater Mandrake who is of the highest order of warlocks has worked hard to try and dispel such rumors and lies .
