It depends. Different people have a different reaction to thigh high socks. Personally, I believe it is about how they are worn. Make sure the outfits you wear thigh highs with are more cutesy than sexy. Wear them with shorts instead of a skirt, and cover up on top. Wear them with a casual sneaker (Converse, for example). Don't wear any high-heeled shoes.
