Some suggest that Triceratops fossils are actually the fossils of young Torosaurus. However, Triceratops were extremely common and existed before Torosaurus did. If Torosaurus were adult Triceratops, their should be fossils of Torosaurus that were as old as the oldest fossils of Triceratops. Thus, I don't think that Torosaurus was the same as Triceratops.
The Torosaurus (the cousin of the Triceratops, except it's head is more massive) lived during the late Cretaceous Period.

Dinosaurs that lived at the same time and place as Triceratops include the herbivores Edmontosaurus, Ankylosaurus, Torosaurus, and Leptoceratops, and Thescelosaurus. Carnivores that co-existed with Triceratops include Tyrannosaurus, Troodon, Pachycephalosaurus, Struthiomimus, and Chirostenotes.
Some dinosaurs that begin with the letter "T" are: * Triceratops * Tyrannosaurus * Titanosaurus * Tsintaosaurus * Therizinosaurus * Tuojiangosaurus * Tarascosaurus * Torosaurus * Troodon
Triceratops fossils have been found from 68 to 65 million years ago, and they were one of the types of dinosaurs to witness the dinosaur extinction event. Recently, scientists have realized that Torosaurus, another dinosaur very similar to Triceratops, may actually have belonged to the Triceratops genus. If that is the case, Triceratops would have lived from 70 to 65 million years ago.
Triceratops is a scientific name - dinosaurs don't really have common names, although their genus names are used to commonly refer to them. The best example is Tyrannosaurus rex - Tyrannosaurus is the genus name and rex the species name. There are two species of Triceratops, Triceratops horridus and T. porosus.
That does not exactly make sense. Perhaps you are thinking of the triceritops.

Torosaurus lived alongside Tyrannosaurus, Ankylosaurus, and Edmontosaurus.
