Trams are not bad for the environment, though if there a lot of them then sometimes
they can cause damage. It would be best not to use trams.
Generally yes. They use electricity for many of them, so there is less pollution.
Trains are better for the environment - as they produce less pollution per passenger than cars do.
Yes subways are better than trains.
In my opinion trains are better than planes. Trains have a better and more interesting history that dates back to the fifteenth century. Trains are better for the environment and get you to just as many places and plane's. OK, they can't get you to America but if someone invested then I bet they could get you to America, it would be a tunnel like the one from England to France, except across the Atlantic ocean and not the English channel. Some great inventors are involved with trains and trains helped with the industrial revolution. If trains had not been invented then we might not have today's thriving enterprise system. That's my opinion
Most vehicles harm the environment, including electric trains, however, electric vehicles are cleaner than gasoline and diesel powered vehicles because some electricity is generated from renewable sources like water, wind and sun.
no ther not
Trains can and sometimes are fatal. This sometimes happens when a train derails, or collides with a pedestrian, car, truck, bus, another train, etc. Compared with other modes of transport, while light rail trains (trams) are statistically about as dangerous as being in a car, other types of trains (subways, intercity rail, commuter trains) are about 4 to 8 times safer than riding in trams or cars. Buses fall midway between the two: they're half as dangerous as being in a car or tram, but twice as dangerous as the other kinds of trains. Much safer than any of the above are airplanes. To conclude: if you don't want to fly, an intercity train line is your safest choice.
Cars are better then trains because they can travel faster, and are more comfortable to travel in. NO trains are better they can go twice as fast as cars. first class or any class is better than car seating this is why: meals on board.toilets.meals.internet wifis.plugs for phones and laptop. can u get that in a car?
In Holland we use (besides cars) public transport (trains, buses, and trams/subway in the big cities), our bicycles (there are more bicycles than people in Holland) and we walk.
Most train horns have more than one leval of sound output, and some locales have orenances requiring trains to use "soft" levels. And some just work better than others.
Trains and railroads were initially much better than canals, and they offered several advantages over existing modes of transport; they were fast, able to cross almost any terrain, and possible to operate in servere weather.
trains have no traffic busses are heavy vehicles and cause potholes trains are more comfortable you can go to toilet trains can carry more passengers catching a bus is a fuss use your brain and catch a train
Trains are comfortable than buses for long distance traval
