Video Games that are immoral (ie that are harmful for character development, such as killings) or that has (or promotes) obscenity should be regarded as haram. Otherwise, it shouldn't be haram.

It is allowed to play games in Ramadan if:

  • not distracting you from doing other more useful activities as praying, reading Quran, doing charity activities, and
  • not against Islam morals and rules.
