I guess so. I mean I have one with the other MANY dogs I have, but I don't have any cats. But neighbor has one. And I do not know what would happen cause they haven't got together. But my old dog who was a Lab was awesome with cats. :)
Most westies do GREAT with children. Some though got nervous around toddlers or babies. Mine will sometimes get nervous or annoyed with a toddler petting him and growl and bite.
Our Westie lives with 4 cats, and all in all she pretty much ignores them as she does with our Golden Retreiver. The Westie runs the place. :)
Westies are popular because they do not shed like German Shepherds or cats. They do require regular maintenance like any other dog, but they will not leave your furniture covered in hair.
white westies are not good in pairs if the other dog is a different breed but two westies would be ok.
they both are pure bread and are good with kids
No, they're not illegal, they are simply not Westies.

Westies were bred for hunting and digging. Westies would chase rodents through anything. My westie insists that she should swim in her water bowl every day. Westies absolutely LOVE water!
westies are important to survival because they can be pets and loving animals!
westies do shed hair i don't care what anybody says they do and if thinking of buying a dog good for asthma I can only suggest a poodle as they loose no hair.
Westies are a breed of dog, and dogs are carnivores. So a Westie is a carnivore.
Westies were bred to kill vermin in Scotland. They usually dig to get to their prey's underground burrows. Today, westies are not usually called upon to perform their jobs, but they still have the instinct. Today, they are used in search-and-rescue work, therapy dogs (not guide dogs), and as beloved family pets and show dogs. They are also good at agility.
