you mean The big round things that go over the Cat. coverter? if you do then no. Besides, they don't do any harm, just they don't do good. So? B)
Open headers are essentially an open exhaust system with no mufflers or catalog converters
Car mufflers were first invented in the late 1800's. The inventor is Milton Reeves, who worked at the Reeves Pulley Co.
Wide Open Throttle.
The disadvantages are pollution car mufflers and oil companies
Mufflers if you want a "sporty sound" Entire exhaust systems if you really want sportier, and more power
I am thinking it is seatbelts
With no mufflers you will gain horsepower but lose torque. Backpressure needs to be created for lower rpm driving. No mufflers will cause the car to be hard to drive in lower rpms causing you to have to drive higher in the rpm causing worse gas mileage. I put a high flow cat and less restrictive muffler and removed the resonator on my car and lost 3lbs torque and gained 18hp to the wheels.
Yes, Midas offers more extensive car repairs than just fixing and replacing mufflers. They also offer oil changes, tire repairs, steering, suspension, and many other services.
take it to an exhaust specialist, take the resonator off and run two pipes down your car with performance mufflers. you will still have catilatic converters, but it will sound good!
it has 2 mufflers. the exhaust pipe splits into two pipes and the you got a muffler on each side of the car...
Yes they will, people do it all of the time. Gives a sound very similar to a typical car's performance muffler, only more high pitched.
The standard double car garage door is 16' wide x 7' high. A two car garage should typically be a minimum of 20' wide (inside) to allow the doors to open. 22' to 24' width is preferred.
