Yes they will, people do it all of the time. Gives a sound very similar to a typical car's performance muffler, only more high pitched.
john
yes
Car mufflers were first invented in the late 1800's. The inventor is Milton Reeves, who worked at the Reeves Pulley Co.
The disadvantages are pollution car mufflers and oil companies
No, if anything, they hinder horsepower, hence speed. If they are really large, they create wind resistance, too.
Why?? It is Too small and does not have enough cranking amps to work properly.
Sort of: you would need about 80 motorcycle batteries 10 to 20 Car batteries Or six to 8 of the correct golf cart batteries.
You get into a car but climb onto a motorcycle.
Mufflers if you want a "sporty sound" Entire exhaust systems if you really want sportier, and more power
I am thinking it is seatbelts
With no mufflers you will gain horsepower but lose torque. Backpressure needs to be created for lower rpm driving. No mufflers will cause the car to be hard to drive in lower rpms causing you to have to drive higher in the rpm causing worse gas mileage. I put a high flow cat and less restrictive muffler and removed the resonator on my car and lost 3lbs torque and gained 18hp to the wheels.
It completely depends on the track and the car or motorcycle
