Wolves have supposedly not been around since 1890, but many people including me believe that they are still alive and well all throughout northern, central, eastern, and western, NY. To many scientists wolves are not native to NY state. Hopefully Ny state will "reintroduct", if they haven't already, wolves into NY state.

There are probably not wild wolves in Jacksonville, Florida. Red Wolves were the only native species of wolf in that area, and they are considered extinct in Florida.
