Look at the pads and measure the thickness. The minimum allowed thickness for the brakes pads is 2 mm. Replace if they are worn to this point. You will have to remove the wheel to measure the pads.
If its rear pads you want to change then you will need a piston winding tool (about £15) to wind piston back in before new pads are fitted. In soccer (football) there are shin guards which cover your shins, obviously. But there are no manditory leg pads. You could google FIFA laws of the game to see if you are allowed to wear other pads but you are not required. Hope this helps

Any cell phone with non-rubber key pads are friendly on long nails. Don't try to purchase a touch-screen phone because your nails will barely work on the screen. Rubber key pads will get worn out easily.
