What are my rights to 5 days statutory sick pay from my employer. I work full time 40 hour week over 4 days. I was recently sick for two weeks and was told that I had to put ion 3 waiting days and got an average payment for the one da.

I work for a small company i have not had a sick day since 23rd Oct 2009 we are now in 21/01/10. I come in with a cold in Jan my boss sent me home i was prepared to work as my boss said no more sick days can happen as its a small company. He sent me home i am a single parent with 2 children my daughter was sick on Monday i had to go and get her in the afternoon i had no alternative care for her. So on the Tuesday my boss asked me what happened i explained he said this cant happen you have had alot of sick days. I said i have only had sick what u sent me home and i had no choice therefore i have not called in sick does this matter can i be penalised for my boss sending me home. The office was freezing for months he has only just started putting the heating on this did not help my chest at all. Now my children i have only taken one sick day off since october 23rd with them. He talks to me like crap and treats me different from the guys i work with i am the only female working here. Now he has asked if i want part time work would this help no it would not as i have commitments with my finances can he force me to work part time?
The company you work for have paid you ssp sick pay and company sick pay when you have not been sick are they entitled to take it back all at once i notified them?
