IF you use Frigi-Tech in an ammonia system, you must use the Ammonia Blend of Frigi-Tech. Your savings will be through the roof, but you need to watch out for filters. Because the Ammonia systems have a higher probablity of corrosion, the Frigi-Tech when it becomes a boundry lubricant will clean out the inside of the system. Its common to change out filters daily for the first week, if the contamination is severe. By the start of the 2nd week it should be all cleaned out.
Ask Frigi-Tech to send you some of the many test they have done on ammonia systems.
Ammonia
Methane, ammonia, and carbon dioxide are all familiar compounds that are in the gas phase at normal temperatures.
Some do, you really have to check the bottle. I don't recommend mixing dish soap and bleach
The experts at Merry Maids recommend that you dilute one part ammonia with three parts water in an empty spray bottle to clean windows, appliances and countertops. You may find ammonia scented with lemon to avoid the tear-evoking smell of ammonia.
You may use ammonia-based cleaners to help disinfect or clean anything such as windows, mirrors, or any other household pieces of furniture. Ammonia is a principal ingredient in fertilizers as ammonium nitrate and ammonium sulfate. Ammonia gas is used in refrigeration and to remove sulfur from fossil-fuel combustion emissions.
Ammonia is ammonia and ammonia is toxic. Non-toxic ammonia does not exist. Ammonia can be diluted in water or held in a sealed container, but it's still toxic.
99.95%(pure ammonia) or better is Refridgeration grade ammonia.
Anhydrous ammonia is pure ammonia. Under normal conditions it is a gas, but it is usually stored as a liquid under pressure. Aqueous ammonia is ammonia dissolved in water. Household ammonia is a 3% solution of aqueous ammonia.
It is regular old ammonia -- NH3. "Ammonia-D" is a trademarked name for ammonia in Windex.
Oxygen bleach uses hydrogen peroxide instead of sodium hypochlorite, and to my knowledge the two do not react, though I would still not recommend it.
No. Frozen ammonia is still ammonia.
Generally ammonia is a gas. There are many uses with ammonia.
