Hello there. Yes you may very well be pregnant. A pregnancy test will only turn positive once HCG has been found in your urine. BUT there needs to be ENOUGH HCG in your urine to make a positive test result. Depending on the pregnancy test, they usually look for 5MIU - 50MIU. If you had 49MIU of HCG in your urine and did a test that looks for 50MIU it would be negative. The same thing applies to the Labatory urine pregnancy test. When they did the test you probably didn't have enough HCG in your urine to give you a positive. You need to have a blood test. Urine tests are NOT reliable and give negative results when women are indeed pregnant. See your doctor for a Quantitative Beta HCG pregnancy test. Good luck.
it might be a molar pregnancy
Inconclusive urine tests are no longer reported, but used to be common. At that time, the inconclusive result meant that on an arbitrary scoring range created for the test, the result was in the middle -- neither positive nor negative. Since then, all results previously labeled inconclusive have now been labeled positive.
A inconclusive urine test is when there is no decision if it's negative or positive. This usually happens when the urine is not tested right away.
Yes. Many brands of pregnancy tests only measure hCG (the human pregnancy hormone) up to a certain amount. If your hCG levels are higher than that amount then the test will show negative or inconclusive.
No, I think it will show up as inconclusive
Inconclusive generally means that some of the compounds the test was trying to detect were found, but not in sufficient concentration to mean a positive result.
It is possible to have inconclusive test results, but not to test both positive and negative at the same time.
It is possible, though rare.
Most of blod and urine pregnancy tests measure the level of hormone called hCG, which is created after the egg is fertilized. Different pregnancy test may have different sensitivity, so it will depend on particular test type when it will test positive. However usually a pregnancy test will test positive after first few days of pregnancy.
No, a positive pregnancy test is the sign of pregnancy on the IUD.
No. False positives are extremely rare, it would be incredibly unlikely that you'd have two false positives with two different brands of pregnancy test. Good luck with your pregnancy.
Will pregnancy test still read positive after miscarriage?
