Is doesn't really matter if you do or don't drink on good Friday. A lot of people probably drank alcohol on Good Friday to celebrate. We celebrate because Jesus was suffering and it was a good thing that he didn't have to suffer anymore.
GOOD GODFREY! what a Horrible Sin! Getting drunk on Good Friday- I can"t imagine someone having less respect for the sacrifice of Christ. I have known some pretty heavy-duty alcohol users who would find this act Unconscionable. If you play the Cana card ( where Christ turned water into wine- this could have been a harbinger of the Blood Sacrifice- as Wine in the mass symbolizes- Bread is flesh, Wine the Blood. Getting Tanked on Good Friday- wow.- that is Abyssmal. if somebody died in an accident or something.. well there is no energy crisis where the soul would probably land.
Only if you have some alcohol. If you don't have any the liquor store might be closed and you will be out of luck.
Bad luck.
