Most socks can be worn on either foot. Some men's ultra-formal silk socks are more fitted , and of course there are socks made for people with special orthopedic issues. Japanese socks (tobi) are made to the same idea as mittens - having a separate space for the big toe, they are visibly handed. (This is so you can wear socks with flip-flops.)

If your socks feel funny, just switch them around .
