Yes, under the political system of constitutional monarchy all people born in the United Kingdom (or in a UK overseas territory) are subjects of the crown. However over the past few years this term seems to have fallen out of use in Britain, with a larger emphasis being placed on 'Citizenship', largely due to increased political control from the European Union.
