Go wherever you feel that God loves you. and love, honor, and serve God as Ruth did.

Answer

All of this happened during one of the bleakest periods in the history of Israel, the period of the Judges. Even then, during the darkest days, God was working to bring about his will. If these are dark days for you, understand that he is at work even when you don't see how that could be possible. Even history's darkest hours God is still at work

Ruth teaches us about how men fail and how we succeed. Elimelech took his family Moab for economic reasons and failed to fulfill his greater responsibilities. The unnamed redeemer shirked his responsibilities to be a redeemer because of economic reasons. Money is often substituted for obedience to God.

The book shows us how dangers, toils, snares, pain, loss can be used in the providence of God for good. It wasn't good that Elimelech disobeyed God, that Naomi lost her husband and two sons, they she and Ruth lost nearly everything that they owned, that they were in constant danger but look at the end of the story. God is good.

Ruth addresses racial diversity. Ruth was a Moabite, a foreigner, not an Israelite, not like the people of Bethlehem, from a different culture but she was placed in the genealogy of Jesus. Race is not an issue when it comes to God and it should not be an issue for us either.

The book is about sexual purity. He declares that intimacy is designed for marriage.

The book reminds us that God's purposes in clued you but do not center on you alone. Yes, it was God's purpose to bring Ruth from poverty and desperation to abundance and satisfaction but the real issue is Christ.
