You'll have to find out who currently holds the rights to this film and approach them for permission to screen it. The Fox Broadcasting Company is the current holder of the rights, and they purchased them for several million dollars. The probability that they will let you run the movie is very low, but you should try to get it anyway. The probability that you will legally be able to run this movie if you don't get permission is zero. Something is better than nothing. Best of luck with this project.

How to Run a Dinner Theater Fundraiser?

A dinner theater fundraiser can be profitable for an organization as well as providing an enjoyable evening for members and patrons. A successful dinner theater fundraiser, however, requires a great deal of planning.First, you must decide how much your organization’s members will do.Will they provide the acting talent, and any technical crew needed? Or will you be partnering with a local theater organization to provide that? Are your members willing and able to do the food preparation and/or provide the wait staff? If so, does your organization have a suitable place, perhaps your meeting hall, and adequate equipment? The area should be large enough to hold a stage, or at least a primary playing area, and a sufficient number of tables and chairs. If not, a private room in a local restaurant might be a good choice. In that case, you’ll want to negotiate a price for a flat rate, preselected menu.Next, you must decide on the play to be produced. This decision may impact on whether you’ll need seasoned actors and crew or not. Popular choices for dinner theater are murder mysteries and comedies, often with elements that interact with the audience. Plays that require few props, minimal sets, and small casts are most easily staged. Rights to perform the play must be acquired, if necessary, and the fee factored in to your overall expenses.Figure out total costs and be sure to include advertising, printing, any equipment rental for sound or lighting. Try to think of any incidental expenses that might occur. Will you be providing any complimentary tickets? Will you be doing any special decorating? Arrive at an expected per person cost by adding all anticipated expenses and dividing by the likely number of patrons. Then, double that amount for your ticket price. That will be the profit for your organization.Dinner theater fundraisers can be fun and profitable for your organization. They can provide local, low cost evenings of entertainment for the public.

What are producers responsible for?

In the theater, the Producer acquires the rights to the play (script) known as the property, by taking an optionwith the playwright. This option gives the producer the exclusive rights to put on the show for a limited period of time. He/She then hires the creative staff, with the approval of the playwright, raises money to finance the show, and consults with the playwright and director over casting and design. He/She rents the rehearsal space, and the theater where the play will be performed, negotiates salaries and fees, and posts a bond with the unions to make sure that the personnel will be paid, even if the show fails. He/She then monitors the progress of rehearsals, and publicizes the opening, while selling the advance tickets for the performance in conjunction with the theater owners, and keeps strict accounts of all expenditures to show the backers.

Do season ticket holders get rights to away playoff games?

No they do not because the season ticket holders of the home team gets tickets and the other seats are just for sale. In the Super Bowl the away team's season ticket holders may get right to tickets, if they purchased their teams home playoff game tickets, if they had any home games, they will be entered in a lottery. Each team in the Super Bowl gets 17.5% of the tickets. If you win the lottery for the tickets through your season tickets, you get half the seats you have for your season tickets, I believe, so if you have 4 season tickets and you win the lottery, you get 2 Super Bowl tickets.
