Turkey is mostly in Asia (>90%), so from a purely definitional standpoint, Turkey is an Asian country. However, when most English speakers say "Asian country", they are referring to East Asia, which Turkey is not a part of (physically or culturally).

turkey and russia are the two that are mostly knowen as being part of both asia and europe but there are a couple of other asian countries that have a small part of their country in europe.
