It depends. My baby died at 8 weeks and I found out at 12 weeks through an ultrasound, and it was removed by D&C
Sometimes you could miscarry very early, but the body doesn't reject the fetus like it should. It does happen. My aunt thought she was 20 weeks pregnant, but when she went for an ultrasound fetus died many weeks earlier
With some women it can go undiscovered for weeks. Others will expell the fetus right away.
Sorry for your loss. Yes. I am diabetic and had a. missed miscarriage at ten weeks. Two weeks ago I had a d and c . No problems just some bleeding and cramps which I was told was normal.hope this helps . Good luck.
If a fetus has died how can it move?
My son died at twenty one weeks, and I still mourn...I suspect for most women it would be like the loss of any child.
It depends very much on how long it takes the womans body to expell the pregnancy. It can happen straight away or can take a few days depending on how heavy the bleeding is. I was 10 weeks 5 days pregant and had a ultrasound, it showed the baby had died of turner syndrome at 8 weeks...My body had not expelled the fetus, nor showed any signs of doing so..I ended up have to D & C's...so my body held that baby for 2 weeks I was almost 12 weeks pregnant and then started showing signs of miscarriage, an ultrasound showed that the fetus stopped developing at 5 weeks. That means it took 7 weeks for my body to expell it.
either the doctor made a mistake or the fetus died and your body was eliminating it
There are two answers to this - one good and one bad. The most probable answer is that you miscalculated and you are actually 5 weeks pregnant. Unfortunately there is a possibility that you did fall pregnant 9 weeks ago and that the pregnancy will not progress. It is possible that either the fetus is not developing, or that the fetus has died which usually means the gestational sac will shrink and appear to be not as advanced as you are.
Because they died.
You have a ultrasound.
You have to have a Dilation and curettage to get it out. it's an abortion method that means they will scrape the uterus. This must be done or you will get serious infections. This is very common at miscarriages.
For one what kind of fetus are u tlking about like baby fetus the question is joy complete but if the baby has died in u then u need to go to doctors and get a DNC done
About 6 weeks.
ThE baby has died.
Abortions past 24 weeks is always for health reasons in mother or fetus. There can be a condition in the fetus not found earlier or the fetus have died or they know that after birth the baby will only live a few hours and in pain. There are humanitarian reasons. In the mother it can be due to high blood pressure which would lead to a stroke and death or a heart condition getting worse as the pressure of pregnancy gets harder or if she has cancer. She can then not go through treatment when pregnant. There are also mental reasons if the woman is mentally ill and needs medicine that would damage the baby.

Fetal demise is a medical term used to mean the fetus has died. Usually this is diagnosed by ultrasound when there is no heart beat found, however it may be suspected by laboratory studies.
That would mean the fetus have died but is still inside of you. You then have to see the doctor and get the uterus scraped so the fetus and lining of the uterus comes out. If not you will get infections.
