at 17 in most states they wont look for you unless you get into trouble after you ran away, or if you are in troble and say missed a court date... Other than that the police arent going to do much about it, im not sure if its legal for a 17 yr old to leave or not in arizona, i know in some states it is, but guaranteed its either 17 or 18 The age of majority in most states including Arizona is 18. Alabama and Nebraska it is 19, Mississippi and Pennsylvania it is 21. What actions the authorities take concerning an underage person leaving the family home depends upon what actions the parents or legal guardian take and how aggressively the state's age of majority law is enforced.
