103,000, and I was advised not to drive over that until the timing belt was replaced
You have a timing chain not a timing belt.
90,000 miles
70,000 is standard on timing belts. Change the water pump at the same time because they die at the same mileage.
BELT - factory recommended change mileage is : 105,000.
105,000 miles
Every 60K miles would be a safe bet.
how do i change my timing belt on my honda?
(as of August 2010) The current factory recommended mileage is 105,000 miles.
According to the below answer 2002 accord after 105K miles it needs to changed.When_should_you_replace_a_timing_belt_on_a_2002_Honda_Accord
The Gates website ( they make timing belts etc . ) shows 105,000 miles for the 3.2 liter V6 engine in a 2002 Honda Passport
Honda recommends it -- But I would not have it done for at least double ot even triple the mileage they recommend.
If it is 3.0L V6 change the belt at 110,000 miles. If it is a 4 cylinder it does not have a belt but instead has a chain which requires no maintenance.
