When you look at yourself you compare yourself to others. If you see yourself as lacking in some way this affects your self concept . Society and mass media are constantly giving us images of how we should look and if we don't look that way ( most of us don't) this also affects our self concept.

If a person has a consistent negative attitude in life, i.e. no hope, no real goal, no purpose, then that person will go exactly in that direction. A first way to have a positive approach is to smile at any situation which will help the situation be better. Take responsibility for your attitude and have a good attitude. Last one and most important is to try and stop being a negative thinker.

Attitude is way you present your self in a particular situation. For example if you are on a ramp for the fashion show attitude is what you need to be the best in that field and vice versa when you show your attitude in office in a negative manner you lose a job.

If I ask what attitude do you have towards classical music you may say I am indifferent or I think its wonderful or its mot my cup of tea! These are reflections of your attitude. It is essentially your outlook and your thoughts and feelings. Behavior is determined by your attitude. Behavior is simply what you do. What you do is a result of your beliefs and attitudes. If your attitude towards running a marathon is one of negativity then your behavior will reflect this!
